Any and all other bookings require a non-refundable deposit which will be stated upon initial agreements. These amounth will have a timeframe attached which will be stated on the client record card or on the booking agreement.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking reservation if fees are not paid on time, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Payments agreed upon official bookings are non-negotiable. All rates stated have been carefully considered and conducted according to standard hairstyling rates, therefore all rates, prices and quotes are reasonable.

The client will cover all necessary travel expenses. This may include petrol costs, public transport, thxi fare and parking charges which are applicable, depending on the location of the booking. This will be agreed with the client before being confirmed on the invoice. Mileage is charged at HMRC rate of 45p per mile and will be worked out based on the post code given by the client.

If any booking is directly affected by unforeseen circumstances beyond the artist's control, every effort will be made to resolve any issues which may affect the client. If necessary the artist reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time without liability, but will make every effort to find a suitable and trusted replacement artist for the client, however it is not the artists' responsibility to do so and no compensation will be made. It is strongly advised to insure weddings against any situations which may occur.

The artist reserves the right to cancel any booking which is made under false pretenses without liability, and retain all payments made or due to be paid.

If for any reason your wedding date is due to be changed, the artist cannot guarantee that the new date will be available and reserves the right to retain your deposit payment .

If for any reason you cancel your wedding booking, your deposit will be retained by us. Cancellation within 8 weeks of the wedding date will require 50% of the final amount due to be paid, less than 4 weeks will require the full amount to be paid. You will not be liable for any other payments.

No deductions of payment can be made after the trial unless previously agreed on booking.

If clients wish to cancel their place on group bookings last minute, the full amount agreed on the invoice will still be due to be paid. Trial payment must be completed the day before the trial and is deducted from the total amount, regardless of the number of clients which attend the trial. Any offer (bridal package or special offer) has the payment timeframe attached to the client record card or in the booking agreement Balance payment is due to be paid 7 days before the wedding.

Hair trials are compulsory for the bride-to-be unless agreed otherwise. It is highly advised that other members of the bridal party also have a trial, to help things run quickly and smoothly on the day, however it is not compulsory.

Trials are held at the artist's home-studio's or the artist can travel to the client, however travel expenses are to be covered if this is the case (not just fuel but other expenses). However, I require the trial to be performed at my home studio for several reasons. If a client requests otherwise, I can travel to them if absolutely necessary, but I charge additionally for this. My liability insurance covers me in my studio and wedding venue for any accidents and I have the necessary precautions (like a first aid kit etc.) should anything go wrong.

Normally trials are allocated between 45 minutes and 1 and a half hours per person (depending on the complexity of the hairstyle). No discounts are offered for trials, no refunds will be given after the trial has taken place. Extra guests can be added to the booking at any time if deemed possible to be included by the artist.

The client will inform Lily of the Valley Hair Design of any allergies, product sensitivities, medical conditions or any issues which may affect the use of equipment and/or prod.ts and/or their health at the trial, and this will be noted in their client record card which will be filed for safety purposes. This information will be kept confidentially between Lily of the Valley Hair Design and the client.

The artist reserves the right to refuse service to any client for behavior deemed threatening or abusive.

The client agrees to have pictures taken for portfolio maintenance and marketing. The artist may share images on social media and the Internet for publicity purposes, unless the client requests otherwise. I will always credit other suppliers and reserve any images until the wedding or event has taken place, at the client's request.
